After a couple days the cops found out what was in the tree. Then after they discovered heat was coming off the bags they called for help to recover the bags. then they found Marijuana and made a bust on the 30 ft. holly tree.

The Environment Working Group report has caused quite a buzz where we live ... Bend Oregon is the 10th city on the list with pretty high levels of this carcinogenic contaminant. The good news is that most 3-stage pre-filters should handle it with no problem if they have both KDF and Ion Exchange media in the filter to remove heavy metals.

It's always interesting to see how people pay attention when something like this comes out ... yet continue to drink chlorinated tap water without a thought if their city is not on the list. Chlorine has been known to create carcinogenic compounds known as THMs for 3 decades ... but you don't hear about that.
